Desert Soaring

Desert Floating - a ninjutsu in which Gaara forms a platform from sand capable of supporting his weight and holds it in the air using chakra. The simplest purpose of the technique is auxiliary: it lifts the user above the ground, moving them out of the reach of attacks. While flying, Gaara can continue to use other techniques, including covering the platform with a Sand Shield for additional protection. Desert Floating also serves as a means of transportation, providing fast movement. The platform can be enlarged to carry allies, or a separate one can be created for each.
