Mysterious Peacock Method

The Method of the Mysterious Peacock is a signature technique of Hoshigakure, based on the radiation of a meteorite that fell two hundred years before the events described. The user concentrates enriched chakra behind their back, and it unfurls like a peacock's tail of feathers. This chakra can be changed in any way: gathered into animal figures, weapons, wings, ropes, or shields. It is precisely this versatility that makes the technique so dangerous.

However, the enhancement comes at the expense of the body. The meteorite's radiation raises the level of chakra, but at the same time destroys the organism. Even experienced users weaken over time and die. Cases of severe physical damage are known, and only one shinobi endured the training without consequences. Because of this, the Third Hoshikage banned the teaching, and after the destruction of the meteorite the technique was lost. To activate, the technique requires a special seal.
