Lion Combo is a close-quarters combat technique unique to Sasuke Uchiha and built on his high physical conditioning and ability to perform rapid consecutive attacks. Sasuke launches the opponent into the air with a kick, after which he himself soars up in pursuit. Once airborne, he provokes the target into a counterattack to use that moment for a counterstrike and land a blow from the side, although this stage is in principle not mandatory. With each subsequent strike downward, the speed of the fall increases, and therefore the future damage intensifies. In the finale, after a series of downward punches, Sasuke brings a heel strike down onto the target from above, slamming it into the ground. The first two steps of this technique — the initial kick into the air and pursuing the opponent in the air behind his back — Sasuke copied from Rock Lee with his Sharingan during their clash.
