Ketsuryugan is a dōjutsu kekkei genkai found among certain members of the Chinoike clan. It is recognized by the red color of the eyes, which is why its bearers are called possessors of "eyes as red as blood." In terms of power, this dōjutsu is compared to the Three Great Dōjutsu. Upon activation, the sclera becomes bright red, the irises dark red, and the pupils white, horizontally elongated rectangles.
Ketsuryugan grants abilities in genjutsu. For this, either physical skin contact or meeting eyes with the target is sufficient. The victim can be hypnotized in various ways or have their mind entered to extract information. In addition, the dōjutsu allows control over iron, or more precisely, any substance with a high concentration of iron. This includes the blood of living beings, both the user's own and that of others. To subjugate someone else's blood, one must infuse one's chakra into the target, for example, through a cut.
