Clay Clone

Clay Clone is a hidden ninjutsu characteristic of Deidara. Unlike most cloning techniques, this clone performs two tasks at once: it substitutes for the user and serves as a capture trap. Made of clay, it is capable of withstanding attacks, and then capturing the opponent, absorbing him into its own body and holding him. As soon as the body passes through the clone, it takes its natural clay form. By changing the hardness of the clay, the clone skillfully immobilizes the enemy. If explosive clay has been added to the clone in advance, it can explode, taking the opponent with it.
