Sasuke Uchiha at twelve years old appears as a cold, closed-off, and determined young man whose character has fundamentally changed after the tragedy of the clan. He carries the burden of being the sole survivor, which has formed in him a fanatical obsession with the idea of revenge — revenge against his older brother Itachi, who destroyed the entire Uchiha clan.
His behavior is distinguished by a sharp alienation from those around him. Sasuke rarely shows emotions, preferring a mask of indifference and contemptuous pride. He considers friendship and attachments to be weaknesses that hinder the achievement of his goal, therefore he consciously pushes away from himself his classmates, including Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno. For him, there exist only two states: strong and weak — and he is ready to do anything to be in the first category.
After receiving the Cursed Seal from Orochimaru, Sasuke's character undergoes troubling metamorphoses. The seal amplifies his aggression and thirst for power, simultaneously eroding his sanity. In moments of activation of the mark, he becomes cruel and uncontrollable, which even frightens him himself. This inner contradiction — the desire to use the power of the seal against the fear of losing himself — creates a deep psychological conflict.
Sasuke possesses high intelligence and strategic thinking, inherited from the Uchiha clan. He is capable of quickly analyzing the situation and finding the opponent's weak points. However, his pride and overconfidence often play a cruel joke on him — he underestimates opponents, considering himself an unsurpassed genius.
In the depths of his soul, Sasuke remains a vulnerable and lonely boy who lost everything in one night. His cruelty is a protective reaction, a shield from the pain of betrayal. The Cursed Seal only exacerbates this internal tension, forcing him to balance on the edge between humanity and obsession, between the desire to protect loved ones (as he once did) and the willingness to sacrifice everything for revenge.
