Sasuke during the period of possessing the Mangekyō Sharingan is a young man completely immersed in the darkness of his own obsession. Cold, withdrawn, and alienated, he demonstrates an extreme degree of emotional detachment from those around him, viewing most people as tools to achieve his goals. The pride of the Uchiha clan has reached its apex in him—Sasuke genuinely believes in his own superiority and considers that the right to justice belongs only to those who possess sufficient power.
A key trait of his character during this period is his obsession with revenge. Having learned the truth about the clan massacre, Sasuke shifts the object of his hatred from his brother to the village hidden in the leaves, which only intensifies his emotional instability. He is capable of cruelty and cynicism, not stopping before killing those who stand in his way. Yet beneath the mask of ruthlessness lies a deeply traumatized teenager who never managed to accept the loss of his family and find a healthy way to vent his pain.
Despite his misanthropic tendencies, Sasuke shows the ability to lead—he forms Team Hebi, demonstrating skill in manipulating people and using their abilities to achieve a common goal. However, these relationships are superficial and utilitarian: he does not allow anyone close to himself, considering attachment a weakness he has long overcome.
His intellect remains one of his strongest qualities—Sasuke is analytical, quickly assesses situations, and is capable of finding unconventional solutions even in critical situations. However, reason often yields to emotions, especially when the matter concerns the clan’s past or figures connected to his childhood. This impulsivity, hidden behind outward calm, makes him unpredictable and dangerous as an opponent.
Sasuke demonstrates an extreme degree of independence and self-reliance, rejecting any help or support. He perceives care as a sign of weakness, and friendship—as a burden distracting from the true goal. This isolation, however, is not without internal contradictions—deep down he retains memories of Team 7 and nostalgia for times when he was not alone, although he suppresses these feelings as unnecessary.
