Having been resurrected, Hiruzen retains all his wisdom, kindness, and sense of responsibility for Konoha and the entire world. However, he becomes more reflective and self-critical. Having witnessed the consequences of his decisions—the war unleashed by Madara, Sasuke's fall, Danzo's actions—he experiences deep guilt. Hiruzen believes that if he had ruled with a firmer hand and made difficult decisions more often, many tragedies could have been avoided. Nevertheless, he does not fall into despair, but instead uses his second life to correct past mistakes. He still believes in the "Will of Fire" and that the future belongs to the next generation. Hiruzen is calm, judicious, and observant: even when facing the unprecedented power of the Ten-Tails and Truth-Seeking Balls, he maintains composure and analyzes their nature within seconds. He is not afraid of death, since he is already dead, and therefore enters battle without fear, covering living allies. His relationship with Orochimaru remains complicated, but in battle they act together.
